The Liebster Award is given by bloggers to up and coming bloggers who have less than 200 followers. It is to show new bloggers that they are appreciated, and to help spread the word about new blogs.

11 Things about Me!

1. I spend 75% of my day in the kitchen. If the kids and I are not messing it up, I'm cleaning it up.

2. I have a love-hate relationship with my hair. My curls have a mind of their own, and like me, they don't always cooperate. There have been days I have seriously considered shaving my head.

3. I have big plans for my house. I just need an extra 16 hours in each day to accomplish them.

4. Cleaning, organizing, and planning make me happy, really happy. My husband thinks there is something wrong with me.

5. I'm thinking of putting a dry erase board in my shower. I get all of my best ideas in the shower, and then I forget them when I get out.

6. I'm doing the Dirty Girl Run in May 2013 and I am soooooo excited!!!!

7. I L-O-V-E couponing and shopping for deals.

8. I am the mom in the school pick-up line wearing a hat and sunglasses, because I don't do my makeup unless I actually go somewhere.

9. I am addicted to Pinterest, and if I don't get on it at night I feel like I'm missing something.

10. I am obsessed with car seat safety, and I always make sure to be up to date on the most recent recommendations.

11. The greatest joy in my life is watching my kids play and laugh together.



Anie's 11 questions for me

1. If you could visit anywhere in the world where would it be?
I would want to go see the Mayan Ruins.

2. What would be your dream job?
I'm doing it! Being a mom is more than I could ask for.

3. What is an item that you couldn't live without?
Sadly, the internet. It has become such a huge part of my life that when I don't have it I feel panicked.

4. If you could only share one piece of advice, what would it be?
Take pictures of your kids everyday! No excuses! Even if it doesn't seem like it matters now, it does and it will!

5. Are there certain things that you will not write about on your blog? What is it?
Hmm, probably anything super personal. I don't like everyone know all my business.

6. What is the most embarrassing thing that has ever happened to you?
When we first moved into our old house, I went to take a bath and the water was cold. I threw on a big t-shirt and went to tell my husband. He was outside so I walked out on the patio. Long story short I got to meet our new neighbors in nothing but a t-shirt. 

 
7. If you could only use one form of makeup what would it be? (eye liner, mascara, foundation, etc.)
Eyebrow pencil.

8. Why did you start blogging?
Everyone kept asking me how I made things, and telling me I should start a blog; so I did.

9. What are you hoping to achieve from your blog?
To share things I know how to do, and push myself to learn new things.

10. Would you rather stay up late, or wake up early?
Late!

11. What is your proudest moment?
Having my kids.

I watch Mirror, Mirror; it is really good!

2. If you could drive any car, what would it be?
An Audi Q7.

French
