Kindergarten Lunches Week 2

This week my daughter actually ate all of her lunches!!!!!!
Uhhh...well kind of...
Most of her food 3 out of 4 days isn't that bad...
Right?

MONDAY

No School

TUESDAY

I packed her rice balls decorated with cheese. I made them using a rice mold*. She also had grapes, carrots, a Z bar, and a Hello Kitty Funtainer* of water.

The container is the Rubbermaid LunchBlox entree with trays*. The silicone cups are Wilton pastel cupcake liners*

 WEDNESDAY

Today she had an English muffin pizza, cut with the heart FunBites*. She also had a strawberry Mott's applesauce packet, cucumber slices, cheddar Chex mix, a brownie, and a Hello Kitty Funtainer* of water.

The pink container is from Pottery Barn Kids, the silicone flower cups* are Wilton.

THURSDAY

I packed her rice, mixed veggies, and chicken tenderloin. I swear there is chicken in that rice!!! She also had mozzarella cheese, apple slices, a Z bar, and a Hello Kitty Funtainer* of water.

I soaked the apples in ginger ale for 10 minutes to prevent browning.

FRIDAY

I let my daughter  pick what she wanted for lunch today. She picked mini pierogies, nutella on a whole wheat wrap, apple slices, grapes, cucumbers cut with a flower fondant cutter*, and a Hello Kitty Funtainer* of water.

I soaked the apples in ginger ale for 10 minutes to prevent browning.

The container is an EasyLunchBox*.

The pierogies and English muffin pizza were the biggest hits of the week. The kids even voted for English muffin pizzas for dinner one night instead of our regular homemade pizza. Which is super strange since they usually beg me to make the homemade pizza every night.

I hope this inspires you to make your kids lunches a little more fun!

  1. Hey, just a quick tip. If you move your Pin It button to be below your first pic that pic will show up in your follower's dashboards rather than just an image of the Pin it button as at present. Cheers
