DIY Halloween Platter

I told myself I would hold off on posting Halloween decorations until October, but I decided this was just too cute not to share.

Awhile back I came across a version of this plate on The House of Smiths. The moment I saw it I knew it was in my future. I actually made this last fall so I don't have any progress pictures, but I thought I would share it anyway.

I picked up the platter from Michaels. It is one of the $2.00 plastic ones that comes in just about every single color under the sun. I think the proper name for it is a charger, but whatever.

I used my Silhouette SD to design and cut the vinyl.
Then I applied the vinyl to the platter.

This is definitely my favorite Halloween decoration in our house, mostly because the kids are always obsessed with what monster they think they are.

I must also add that the first time I showed it to my husband he pouted, "I'm not on it."
*Sigh*
Maybe this year I'll add something about a goblin around the edge, just for him...LOL.

I'll Be Linking Up At These Parties!
